Who We Are
To be elevated as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) is an honour bestowed on deserving members of the Institution. Fellows are expected to be of high moral standard, sound professional practice, and proven integrity.
The Board of Fellows (BoF) is organised exclusively as the highest cadre of membership of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors. It derives its powers from the NIS Constitution and provides leadership in an advisory capacity in the affairs of the Institution.
All members of the Board use the designation FNIS after their names, signifying their elevation to the Fellowship of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors.
